a member of the National Tour Association, Inc.
For your security and peace of mind, we provide the N.T.A. "Consumer
Protection Plan" to all of our travelers. As valued clients
of Great Adventure Tours, all tour deposits and funds are protected
for up to $100,000 in the unlikely event of tour operator default.
- Free Trip for Chaperon
- One Chaperon travels free with every fifteen paid participants.
Standard tours include 3 complimentary spaces per bus. For an
even lower chaperon/student ratio, additional chaperon spaces
are easily arranged per your school's administrative guidelines
for tours.
- Teacher Incentives
- In addition to a free trip, the tour organizer has the option
of receiving a Bonus Commission and/or Bonus Points for personal
travel. A full bus earns you $215.00 in education allowance on
3 day tours.
Transportation - Round trip transportation by air, bus or train
is arranged according to the preference of the group.
- Quality Accommodations -
Great Adventure Tours provides lodging for its groups at recognizable
nationwide chain hotels that are experienced in accommodating
student groups, i.e. Ramada, Travelodge, Vagabond Inn and Holiday
Inn.
- Admissions and Fees
- All exhibit and destination admissions, fees and taxes are included
in your Discovery Tour packages: your tour package price will
not have any hidden costs for exhibits or destinations visited
on tour.
- Great Adventure Tours Tour Escort
- A Great Adventure Tours escort will accompany your group to
facilitate all tour logistics including itinerary, transportation,
accommodations, exhibit entries and meals as desired. The tour
escort is there for you to make sure your trip runs smoothly and
comes off without a glitch.
- Optional Insurance Coverage
- Optional low cost travel insurance for students may be purchased
on a per-student basis by participant/parents.
- Evening Security
- Professional security personnel (upon request) can be placed
on duty throughout the night for your safety and convenience...
reassures parents of evening safety and let's you get the full
night of sleep you want!
- Meal Options -
Great Adventure Tours can organize meal plans such as group breakfasts,
pizza parties and more as one of your tour options at a small
additional cost.
- Evening Activities
- The fun continues into the evening with planned activities such
as swimming parties, night sightseeing tours, pizza parties, ice
cream socials, family fun centers, dances and bowling parties.
- Flexible Dates and Itineraries
- You select your tour dates and choose the destination and exhibits
to be visited. Itineraries are customized to meet the interests
and needs of each student group.

"Great
Adventure Tours provides some of the most exciting and educational
trips available to teachers and students.
It is common knowledge that students learn best with "hands-on
activities. Great Adventure Tours' Discovery field trip
provides an invaluable experience for students and teachers
alike. As a biology teacher I know how important experiential
learning is to my students: the Discovery trip gives them
exposure to a wealth of experiences that otherwise would
be unavailable to them.
It is gratifying to see childlike wonderment and amazement
rekindled in my students during these tours. With the current
public education trend toward budget tightening and the
resultant loss of out-of-classroom opportunities, I am very
pleased to be able to offer these Great Adventure trips
to my students.
I have been running these trips for over six years now
and each year they improve. This past year there was such
huge demand for the Discovery tour to San Francisco and
Monterey that my trip sold out in three days and, because
there were so many other students wanting to go, I had to
add a second bus!
